I have been creating Christmas ornamnets since the winter of 1976. My high-school art teacher had us create "seasonal ornaments" for a Holiday pagent and it turned into my main hobby. Currently I have designed something over 300 ornaments many of them use techniques associated with jewelry making to create the ornaments, precious and semi-precious gemstones and metals, glass beads, pre-made ornaments, along with fabric and fiber. I may see a pair of earrings and enlarge the motif to make it into an ornament. I have sold many of the ornaments I create since 2001.

In my "real job", I work for a company which produces equipment and safety supplies for the welding industry. I have been associated with this industry off and on since 1990. I mainly design the labels and envelopes which are used in the packaging of the equipment and supplies.

Enjoy cooking as well as reading both fiction and non-fiction. Some of my favorite authors include: David Sedaris, Katherine Kurtz (both the Deryni and Adept series), CE Murphy, Tom Clancy (Jack Ryan series), Jim Butcher (Dresden Files), Holly Black. Muscially I enjoy most types of music: jazz standards, rock, pop, disco, country (both old and new), usually I have the iPod on full shuffle mode so I may hear Jimmy Buffet followed by Frank Sinatra and then George Michael or Arron Tippin.
